QUARTET

This project belongs a long series of pieces for electric guitar written by Alejandro, ranging from solo, duo, trío and quartet. The goal of this project is to create a relaxing atmosphere full of delicate clean guitar sounds and also very distorted but subtle moments.

TRIO

The trio project started in 2013 when Alejandro received a commission to write a piece for the Bogotá based guitar trio TripTripTrip. Since that moment Alejandro wrote pieces for the ensemble that have been released in two albums: “Qué cosa tan seria” (2014) and “Como quien oye llover” (2017).

In 2017 Alejandro formed his guitar trio in order to play his acoustic music.

SOLO

This solo project explores new performance techniques in order to develop a new approach to the instrument from a contemporary perspective.

The goal of this series of compositions is to create a repertoire for solo electric guitar as a solo concert instrument.
